AVGGTATHE! - The Market Buffet (Casino Niagara)

Again, AVGGTATHE! == A Vancouver Girls Gide to All Things... Hamilton Edition!

The following day it was a day off for us so we chose to travel to Niagara Falls. We ended up in Casino Niagara and, since it was already lunch time, we went to their buffet. Most, if not all buffets in casinos are great, right? Well, see it yourself:

From bottom left, counter-clockwise, bok choy, stuffed pasta shell (don't remember the exact name), cabagge roll, meatballs and ribs.

Again, from bottom left, counter-clockwise, roasted chicken, tomato salad, artichocke, mushroom, green beans and prime roast.

Once again, from bottom left, counter-clockwise, stir-fry, fried rice, mashed potato with gravy, baked salmon, pasta salad and meatballs.

The truth is that I was totally disappointed with the food. I already had an odd feeling when the price was ~$13/person but, again, we were hungry (haven't had anything since our visit from Boston Pizza the previous night). Unfortunately, I found out why the hard way about 30 minutes later: We went to the wrong casino. It happens there are two casinos not far from each other: Casino Niagara and Fallsview. Competition is good, right? Well, no. It happens both are run by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG)... So, so far, my dining experience in Hamilton has been 0/2. Ouch...
